Wtf man. No one is saying the guy is a saint. However, in the USA neither using drugs, or passing a fake 20 dollar bill is punishable by the death penalty. It’s not our cops jobs to kill people or to determine guilt. Their job is to gather evidence and make arrests (or issue tickets) if a law was broken if they think a person who is responsible and to take them to jail so they can go through our criminal Justice system and be given their right to a trial to THEN determine guilt or innocence and punishment if guilty for which a cop has no part in only in the initial arrest. Fact is that day several other emergency personnel called 911 on that cop. And, his own superior testified that the use of force or ends when the person stops resisting. You know like when Floyd was no longer responsive he was obviously no longer resisting arrest. Derek Chauvin had 18 complaints 2 of which ended in him being punished. One Incident he pulled a woman from a car and beat her because she was doing 10mph over the speed limit. Stop licking boots for a min a realize cops aren’t always right. They make mistakes.Derek Chauvin was a crappy cop. And should have been fired long ago idk many after his 3,4,5,6,...12th 15th complaint maybe? 🙄

I have read and heard every LEGITIMATE news report and watched every word of testimony for all four days. In NOT ONE instance has Mr. Floyd been referred to as "a thug." Stop watching phony "news" reports.

@Patriotic Emo Shark Questioning Politics Partly it falls on the department because Chauvin was a crappy dangerous cop and instead of firing him they allowed him to continue working knowing he had over 18 complaints mostly all for excessive force. They treat police departments like “good ol’ boys clubs” and not like a job. Meaning they knew for a long time that Chauvin was dangerous. Instead of firing him after his 10th complaint!!!! They let him get 8 more complaints covered for him, turned him loose on the public to kill someone. And he did murder someone. His excessive force just escalated until he finally murdered someone. Then, all the people who covered for him for so long finally turned on him. Even the 911 dispatcher was like “You can call me a snitch if you want too.” When she saw on the camera what was going on and called the superior officer. Why would he call her a snitch for doing what was right? Oh because of the good ol’ boys club mentally. 🙄 Chauvin killed that man with no regard for his life. Never once getting off him to check if he was even breathing. Nothing. Even when EMS got there checked his pulse and told Chauvin there was no pulse. He STILL didn’t get off Floyd.

@C. King wouldn’t that fall more on the department though? Nobody wants to be a cop anymore. Not even the people sitting here defending him. I don’t get it. If you hate the police, become the police. If you love the police and bootlick for the police all the time, become the police. That is legitimately America’s problem, Departments spend too much on things they don’t need instead of expanding their employee search and hiring new people who went to college for this kind of stuff or just want to make a change. It ultimately falls onto the people though. Not enough people are wanting to become cops.
